Welcome to Multilocus.net

Multilocus.net is a bioinformatic tool dedicated to accessing and manipulating the multilocus data resulting from pathogen-typing schemes. These schemes are currently focused on the typing of disease-causing eukaryotes, however we are not limiting the development of the site to such organisms.

Currently, Multilocus.net schemes are based on the amplification of loci containing microsatellites repeats (Multilocus Microsatellite Typing, MLMT). Multilocus.net is readily adapted to host other types of discrete typing data; please contact Matthew Fisher for details if interested.

Note: The typing schemes held on Multilocus.net differ from the Multilocus Sequence Typing (MLST) schemes. MLST schemes are held at www.mlst.net
